Comparing the Search Engines

Okay, the big guy is busy playing Hamlet, so I'll entertain for a bit...

I did a little homework today, just to see how the poet himself is doing on the search engines out there...I tried the official form of his name on Yahoo, AltaVista, Google and MSN...

Both AltaVista and Yahoo returned 1,010 pages with reference to him. Not bad.

MSN had 2,797. Impressive.

Google, God love 'em, had 26,100 (I'm not kidding!)

So either Google wastes a lot of time with needless pages, or the other search engines are pikers.
