Is there nothing real amidst canyons of glass...

A GLASS HOUSE DOES NOT DEFINE WHERE WE LIVE. THE REAL HOUSE OF US IS THE EMOTIONAL HOME WE LIVE IN. THAT UNFORTUNATELY IS DETERMINED BY MANY FACTORS UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO DISOWN IT AS THE OPEN YET UNPENETRATABLE STRUCTURE OF WHO WE REALLY ARE. TO ETERNALLY PINE FOR ANOTHER ,TO MAKE US COMPLETE, WEAKENS OUR OWN FOUNDATION TO EXCLUDE WHAT WE MAY NEVER FIND AS SWEET ENOUGH BUT WHAT WE SHOULD SURELY ALLOW THE SPIRITS OF OTHERS TO EFFECT FOR US BY GRACING OUR WALLS AND ENHANCING THE BEAUTY OF WHERE WE TRULY LIVE. MY ADVISE IS THIS :GET LAYED....IT'S A HUMAN THING TO DO AND WHEN YOU ARE AS CLOSE TO COMPLETE AS YOU ARE, A LITTLE ICING ON THE CAKE, OCCASIONALLY,MAY FEED THE APPETITE ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO SAY THAT YOUR NEXT MASTERPIECE WAS RIGHT THERE IN YOU ALL ALONG.I THINK THAT THERE IS A VERY FINE LINE BETWEEN WHAT HAS ALWAYS FELT GOOD, WHAT WE DETERMINE WE ARE COMFORTABLE IN OWNING AND WHAT WE ARE WILLING TO EXPAND TO FIND. ALL THIS FROM A FRAGMENT? I GUESS SOME MAY CALL IT A RANT BUT UNLESS YOUR MIND IS CLOSED,IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER WHAT IT'S CALLED ANYWAY ?... OR DOES IT?

All caps? Am I now being read by the VIC-20 set?

As to the advice, it is appreciated...and believe me, people who have known me longer and better than you have already given me that advice, repeatedly, for the last 3-4 years.

But I do not depend on others for my principles, vision or dreams in that sense.

Yes, I miss it. Someone with my hunger for passion is going to. But there is a difference between sentient and sonambulistic. I rule my life, now, and will choose that path when there is someone worth the accumulated affection, passion, lust, pain and sorrow I have known.

You don't just randomly pick someone like that up at the local tavern. I've spent many years trying to make silk purses, with varying degrees of success.

I understand where you are coming from, and appreciate you and your viewpoint (and I know who you are, by the way...just refusing to sign your name doesn't make you invisible or obscure). Be well.

As for me, I am fine in the moment. As some poet once said:

"I will take no pretender, again, to my bed".
